The Company was founded in 2011 by owners Francesco Catalano and Mary Deneb. The artists put together the hard tailoring lessons of Francesco’s grandmother and the natural talent by Mary in making original and very refined hairdressings. In 2012 the Company achieved worldwide success releasing the Black Swan, first in a series of Ballet and Dance. The doll caused big rush in the collectors world and were sold for over 1.000 dollars in the secondary market and online auctions.After that big hit, fans referred to the company as “the Black Swan Company” and soon became its definitive name. After 6 months the new doll was announced: the White Swan, second in a series.The success was huge, the White Swan reached even higher records than the Black Swan and confirmed the leading role of the company in the collector world. Today the Black Swan Company produces, using the words of collectors and fans, “the most sought after dolls on the market”.

The doll has been made using the Silkstone body. Her face has been fully repainted with great attention for details using professional colors and sealants.The doll wears an original corset fully embroidered with beads, pearls and sequins. The embroidery reflects the autumn sensation using sequins with ember shapes, the exquisite color of the bodice and all the shades and shapes of beads perfectly recalls this season and create an evocative autumn mood in the “Secret Garden”. The corset has an engaging naked effect on the back, with two chains of pearls and beads who cross her shoulder.The gown is maybe the most spectacular part of the doll, fully embroidered front and back, completely studded with thousand and thousand sequins, pearls and beads of different colors and shape. The gown has been doubled with a very prestigious silk, using a very sophisticated tone of color, an original shade of ochre to enhance the wonderful embroidery on the top. Under the gown, there are 4 layers of glittered gold tulle who support the embroidered gown and finish the doll.Her hat is fully embroidered and perfectly matches the pattern of corset and gown. There are hundreds and hundreds sequins and beads and it gives a very sophisticated look to Agnes.The last touch of glamour is the incredible fur coat of the doll. The autumn season is cold in the Secret Garden and Agnes covers her shoulder with a beautiful fur coat who perfectly recalls the colors of her dress. On her left hand, she owns her violin, her instrument of love, to always bring music and joy in the Garden and to the friends of her life who lives with her: Flora, Violet and Nympha.
