LAURIE EVERTON & KAREN HOLSHOUSERS

Laurie Everton has been creating ooak dolls for 15 years and the last 10 focusing on celebrity dolls. Portraiture is her passion, creating pencil portraits since the age of 12. Just a few highlights in her artistry since moving on to the celebrity portrait dolls include: Her "Ellen" doll making it on the Ellen DeGeneres show in 2009 and appearing twice for interviews on local television (2009 and 2010) November 2012 HauteDoll magazine published a 3 page article about her dolls: "Re-creating Celebrity" and the same year had the privilege of working with Bret Michaels to create 14 original "Bret" dolls for his BMBPoorboy records website (which sold out in 2 days) Other accomplishments include repainting 4 dolls for the childrens/teen book cover "Bubble World" by Carol Snow (repainted to look like the characters in the book) and multiple awards through the years.

Karen Holshouser of Glammourdoll. Designing doll fashions & sharing her creations with doll collectors around the world is something she has enjoyed for many years. With over twenty years of experience & a passion for sewing, designing, & crafting, she found this wonderful OOAK outlet for her creative imagination. With an ability as a seamstress to make life-like fashions into miniature works of couture design, that she can share with doll lovers through online sales and commissions. For her it is always a challenge & pleasure to take just a simple scrap of fabric & various materials then mold & shape them into a doll-size treasure which will transform any doll into a work of art.
